PORSCHE MUSEUM - STUTTGART, GERMANY

An extremely well designed facility, lined with Porsche’s most historical earmarks, makes the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart a necessity on every car fanatics bucket list. The number one 1948 Porsche 356 is permanently on display and a sight to behold. The grand 70th celebration of the Porsche 356 was in full swing when I visited.

MERCEDES BENZ MUSEUM - STUTTGART, GERMANY

An exciting trip through not only the automotive feats of Mercedes Benz, but first dives the attendee into the unique and groundbreaking inventions of the inspiring Gottleib Daimler and Karl Benz. Both true titans in their industry, it was clear that Benz had a clear focus on automobiles while Daimler’s vision was varied mechanically. Visitors can feast their eyes on the design of one of Mercedes most notable cars, the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing.

CITE DE L’AUTOMOBILE - MULHOUSE, FRANCE

The Schlumpf Collection is the creation of brothers Hans and Fritz, both men were extremely driven in their industry and would later find that drive in collecting cars. They were very successful in the wool ginning business and spinning mill in Mulhouse, France which would later be turned into the Cite d’ le Automobile museum itself. The museum is considered the largest displayed automobile collection in the world and can boast having in it’s numbers the largest collection of Bugattis. An impressive feat.
